Great Secretary's Day Gifts

On Secretary’s Day why not give your secretary a
half day. The company won’t lose out on too much, but for the secretary it will be great. They can go out and watch a movie, get their hair down or spend some time with their children. It is also a wonderful idea to hire a temp for the day and treat your secretary’ to a lunch. Another great idea is to get a gift for her desk or even better a personal gift. Some great Secretary’s Day Gifts are bags. Some gift ideas for Secretary’s day include Bags as a Secretary’s Day Gift Clocks as a Secretary's Day Gift Mugs as a Secretary’s Day Gift Coffee Mugs as a Secretary’s Day Gift Ipad Covers as Secretary’s Day Gifts Hampers as Secretary’s Day Gifts The History of Secretary’s Day The idea began with Mary Barrett, president of the National Secretaries Association, now called IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals), and C. King Woodbridge, president of Dictaphone Corporation. They served on a council addressing a national shortage of skilled office workers. The account executives at Young & Rubicam originated the idea for a National Secretaries Week. The official period of celebration was first proclaimed by US Secretary of Commerce of Charles Sawyer as "National Secretaries Week," which was held June 1–7 in 1952, with Wednesday, June 4, 1952 and designated as National Secretaries Day. The first Secretaries Day was sponsored by theNational Secretaries Association with the support of corporate groups. In 1955, the observance date of National Secretaries Week was moved to the last full week of April. The name was changed to Professional Secretaries Week in 1981, and became Administrative Professionals Week in 2000 to encompass the expanding responsibilities and wide-ranging job titles of administrative support staff. IAAP created National Secretaries Week (now Administrative Professionals Week) with two objectives in mind: to recognize "the secretary, upon whose skills, loyalty, and efficiency the functions of business and government offices depend," and to call attention "through favorable publicity, to the tremendous potential of the secretarial career." Magic Mugs -Tips on Colour

Magic mugs are mugs that change colour depending on the temparature of the liquid inside the mug.

Magic mugs go through a specific manufacturing process.

First your logo is printed onto the mug. After the print has set then the magic mug coating is sprayed onto the mug. The magic mug coating is what allows the mug to change colour according to the temperature of the mug.

Something to be cautious of is that the magic coating alters the colour of the initial pront. This means that even if the mug is printed with your exact pantone colour, it will appear to be a different colour when the mug is sprayed with the coating.
